it's been over fifty years since a major act of terrorism took place at the Olympics. But with wars in Ukraine, the Middle East, and elsewhere, it seems like it's almost inevitable. Already, there has neen a coordinated attack against the rail system in France, centered around Paris.

It's early yet of course, but there's no real reports of terrorism so far, unless you count that sabotage against the French rail system.

It's possible the French security has been successful in thwarting any terrorist acts. But my own theiry is the terrorists saw that opening ceremony, and figured anything they did would be pretty redundant.
