You don't need to be getting food stamps if you can still afford to buy ammo.

Ammo

It is in that order... if you cannot afford the top 5 by yourself, you don't need to have your neighbor pay for it so you can buy item number 6.

Grabbing government stuff isn't always bad... but something tells me if you qualify for food stamps, you are not paying a ton of taxes to begin with.
I know after the hurricane here, I definitely made sure we got our fair share of the bottled water and MREs. But we also pay a ton in taxes each year, and this is the first time we have been reimbursed. We have still put it a lot more than we have ever gotten close to taking out.
