Old silver coins are one way to make change. Dollar coins, half dollars, quarters, and dimes dated 1964 and earlier are all made of 90% silver. At the silver price listed in my post above the following coins are worth the price indicated for the silver content only:
Dollar - $10.31
Half Dollar - $4.82
Quarter - $2.41
Dime - $.96
