Like it or not, and Israeli-Iran war is no longer unthinkable. It used to be a given that Iran's proxies, Hezbollah and Hamas, were a deterrent to any Israeli attack on Iran. But Hamas is on its last legs, and Hezbollah has been decapitated and is, temporarily at least, paralyzed. And Iran's nuclear facilities and oil infrastructure has suddenly become very tempting targets.

This may be Israel's best chance in fifty years to change the balance of power in the Middle East. I don't know what Netanyahu will do, but I'd be tempted to go for it. And Biden's and Kamala's warning "Don't" sure wouldn't stop me.
