This thread is for news related to violent protests by numerous leftist/anarchist groups whose sole purpose is to destabilize this country like they have Europe and the Middle East. Prominent Leftists Defend, Justify Violent Riot at UC BerkeleyWomen beaten, pepper sprayed by crazed thugs before Milo event Paul Joseph Watson | Infowars.com - February 2, 2017 Prominent left-wing journalists and celebrities responded to the violent riot and beatings of Trump supporters outside a Milo Yiannopoulos event at UC Berkeley by encouraging, defending or justifying the attacks. Trump supporters were beaten with flag poles, punched and stomped during the chaos, with another woman being pepper sprayed during a TV interview. https://youtu.be/GSMKGRyWKas My friend was giving an interview when some coward peppersprayed her #Berkeley pic.twitter.com/CDpEqDsw2A — janey (@janeygak) February 2, 2017 Others were chased and stomped as the baying mob chanted “beat his ass!” "Beat his ass! Beast his ass!" Trump needs to list Antifa as a domestic terror group. This has no place in a civil society. pic.twitter.com/XFhU3xc7eF — Paul Joseph Watson (@PrisonPlanet) February 2, 2017 Rioters shot fireworks at the building in an effort to shut down the event. A group of antifa are shooting fireworks at the building where Milo is set to speak at Berkeley pic.twitter.com/7Mtcer9ejO — Julia Carrie Wong (@juliacarriew) February 2, 2017 The behavior perfectly fits the definition of domestic terrorism, and Antifa should now be officially designated as a domestic terrorist group. Antifa is a terrorist organization. pic.twitter.com/KxqKQupCcC — Kassy Dillon (@KassyDillon) February 2, 2017 President Trump responded to the mayhem by threatening to cut off federal funds to UC Berkeley. If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view – NO FEDERAL FUNDS? — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 2, 2017 However, instead of decrying the violence, prominent leftists across the spectrum justified and even applauded it. Hollywood director Judd Apatow threatened Trump supporters with a since deleted tweet in which he stated, “This is just the beginning. When will all the fools who are still supporting Trump realize what is at stake?” The Mayor of Berkeley Jesse Arreguin also legitimized the riots by calling them a reaction to “hate speech”. Using speech to silence marginalized communities and promote bigotry is unacceptable. Hate speech isn't welcome in our community. — Jesse Arreguin (@JesseArreguin) February 2, 2017 After the riots, Google engineer Adrienne Porter Felt called on people to donate to UC Berkeley. last night i got a call from the UC Berkeley alum association asking for donations. wonder if they're psychic? time to donate, i think https://t.co/SRj8TlhtY2 — Adrienne Porter Felt (@__apf__) February 2, 2017 Buzzfeed’s Hannah Jewell apparently thought the beating and pepper spraying of women was funny. lmao berkeley https://t.co/hFt21Z7jqf — Hannah Jewell (@hcjewell) February 2, 2017 MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin slammed Trump for being “upset….over a Breitbart editor,” presumably unaware of the fact that innocent people were beaten by the rioters. Trump is considering pulling federal funds from U.C. Berkeley because he's upset about protests… over a Breitbart editor. https://t.co/7yukSzedlN — Kyle Griffin (@kylegriffin1) February 2, 2017 VICE columnist Hussein Kesvani’s main gripe was that Milo Yiannopoulos was made to appear “reasonable”. Listening to Milo on Fox, in light of all the stuff happening on Berkeley- and how he's been allowed to appear reasonable in all this — Hussein Kesvani (@HKesvani) February 2, 2017 This is the violence that the mainstream media and the left has legitimized for the last 18 months. This process intensified after news outlets like the Nation and Newsweek celebrated alt-right leader Richard Spencer being punched in the face during the inauguration last month. This is what happens when leftists openly call for Trump’s assassination and argue that violent attacks on his supporters should not be condemned. It is also important to note that Antifa radicals do not care if they are loathed and hated by the vast majority of Americans. They don’t care how bad the optics look of masked thugs violently shutting down free speech. They will always resort to violence because they can safely rely on the media to report the as a “protest” and not what it actually was – a violent riot laced with instances of domestic terrorism. The media will never acknowledge that this was a violent riot because they want to maintain the “chaos narrative” that the Trump administration is illegitimate, permanently in crisis and unstable. In reality, the only thing that is “illegitimate” is these “protests,” because they are not protests, they are violent riots and have no place in a civil society. Hollywood Director Tweets Threat To Trump Supporters After Berkeley Riot Comedy director Judd Apatow threatened Americans who support Donald Trump that the riots that broke out at the University of California – Berkeley Wednesday night were “just the beginning.” In a now-deleted tweet, the “Knocked Up” director shared a link to CNN’s coverage of the riots with the message, “This is just the beginning. When will all the fools who are still supporting Trump realize what is at stake?” The backlash against his tweet was swift from Trump supporters and prompted Apatow to later delete his tweet. In a later tweet, Apatow tried to walk back the implication he was supporting violence against his political enemies. Riots erupted at Berkeley Wednesday night over Breitbart Tech Milo Yiannopoulos planning to deliver a speech on campus. The violence from left-wing protesters — which included multiple assaults and significant property damage — forced Yiannopoulos to cancel his event. This is not the first time this week a prominent Hollywood figure has championed violence against political opponents. At Sunday night’s Screen Actors Guild Awards, “Stranger Things” star David Harbour called for punching people he thinks oppress the disenfranchised in a speech directed towards Trump to roaring applause from the entertainment industry’s biggest stars.

Donald Trump Threatens to Cancel Berkeley Federal Funds After Riots Shut Down Milo Event
“If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view – NO FEDERAL FUNDS?”
Breitbart - February 2, 2017
President Donald Trump reacted to the massive rioting at UC-Berkeley in response to a scheduled campus speech by Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos.
“If U.C. Berkeley does not allow free speech and practices violence on innocent people with a different point of view – NO FEDERAL FUNDS?” Trump wrote on Twitter early Thursday morning.
News of the rioting made cable news last night as students smashed ATMs and bankwindows, looted a Starbucks, beat Trump supporters, pepper sprayed innocent individuals, and set fires in the street. Others spray painted the words “Kill Trump” on storefronts.
The speech was canceled by UC-Berkeley police as security failed. Yiannopoulos was evacuated from the area.
“The left is profoundly antithetical to free speech these days, does not want to hear alternative points of view, and will do anything to shut it down,” Yiannopoulos told Fox News host Tucker Carlson in an interview on Wednesday night. “My point is being proven over and over and over again.”

Not sure if any of you are aware of this, but the main person in charge right now at UC Berkely is Janet Napolitano. She was named woman of the year for Oakland in 2016. If fact most of that area politics is now women's power and LGBT stuff. The Black political scene is practically related to museum status.
Life liberty, and the pursuit of those who threaten them.
Trump: not the president America needs, but the president America deserves.

Anti-Trump Protesters Block Ambulance Rushing to Hospital
Arrests made at demonstration in Connecticut after 'critically ill' patient prevented from passing
by Kathryn Blackhurst | 06 Feb 2017
Protesters decrying President Donald Trump’s two-week-old administration prevented an ambulance carrying a “critically ill” patient from getting to Yale-New Haven hospital during a protest Saturday in New Haven, Connecticut.
Roughly 200 demonstrators marched to Route 34 around 5 p.m. carrying a banner emblazoned with the words “No Ban No Wall New Haven,” they blocked traffic on the highway the ambulance was taking
The protesters “obstructed an ambulance carrying a critically ill patient,” the state police report read, according to the New Haven Independent. “Due to this delay, ambulance personnel were required to perform an emergency medical procedure in the ambulance instead of at the hospital.”
One protester in particular who stood in the ambulance’s path refused to move when asked by police to do so.
“The officers tried to guide him out of the way. He pushed an officer trying to get back,” Shift Commander Lt. Sam Brown told the Independent, noting that the man was brought to the ground and arrested.
The patient’s resulting condition has not been publicly disclosed.
Police at the scene arrested at least three protesters, including Norman Clement, one of the organizers. Clement incurred several charges, including inciting a riot and disorderly conduct.
But the New Haven demonstration only proved to be the latest in a wave of nearly weekly anti-Trump protests across the nation that have endangered American lives or caused horrific damage.
On Jan. 20, thousands of protesters descended upon D.C. to disrupt Trump’s inaugural ceremony in whatever ways they could find. Claiming that justice was on their side, some of the protesters turned violent and threw “rocks, bottles, flares, and unknown liquids” at police officers, CBS News reported. Six officers were injured while the police arrested 217 protesters in the nation’s capitol. And on top of all that, rioters set a limousine on fire, damaged other vehicles, smashed in store windows, destroyed other pieces of property and set other objects aflame while armed with hammers, crowbars and other weapons.
Violence occurred elsewhere across the country on Inauguration Day as rioters engaged in behavior that was severely destructive to their own communities. In Portland, Oregon, rioters armed with sticks and clubs attacked officers. In Seattle, Washington, protesters chucked bricks at the police and a man was shot.
Even before Trump's inauguration, the protesters sometimes became violent. Just two days after Trump's Nov. 8 victory, protesters in Portland began a riot, set a dumpster on fire, and engaged in vandalism that concluded with 29 arrests. The demonstrators also attacked drivers and smashed store windows as Portland police were "trying to get anarchist groups to stop destroying property," according to their report. That same evening, protesters in Denver, Colorado, succeeded in blocking Interstate 25 for a half hour.
"It’s happening," New Haven Assistant Police Chief Tony Reyes told the Independent. "We have to be ready to deal with and try to do it in a way that balances our commitment to community policing while keeping our officers safe."

There was always something fishy about the outbreak of "spontaneous" protests at airports around the country in the immediate wake of President Trump's executive order pausing visas and refugees from terror-prone countries.
Not that you'd suspect anything from the way they were covered. Nearly every story published over that weekend stated without equivocation that the protests were an unplanned and visceral reaction to Trump's executive order. Examples:
"Spontaneous Protests Hit Airports Across America Following Trump's Executive Order"
"Protest Grows 'Out of Nowhere' at Kennedy Airport"
"The senseless cruelty of the executive order has led to spontaneous protests at many of America's major airports."
"Word of the spontaneous demonstration was spread across social media."
But these protests weren't spontaneous at all. They were, in fact, the result of months of careful planning by hard-core left-wing activist groups.
"News reports and TV broadcasts about the week's protests described the events as 'spontaneous protests' mounted in response to the Trump administration's travel and immigration executive order," author Asawin Suebsaeng writes at the liberal leaning Daily Beast. "But to Make the Road New York, and the groups like it across the country, there was nothing 'spontaneous' about it."
Suebsaeng notes that "professional organizers had been waiting and planning for this type of mass, direct action — ready-made to go viral on social media — even since, well Nov. 9." These professional organizers, he says have been "anticipating and mapping out their battle plans for Trump's orders on deportations, bans, and detention."
The executive director of the Arab American Action Network told Suebsaeng that "we had been laying the groundwork for this for a long, long time."
Since Trump had made clear that he planned — on day one, in fact — to issue a temporary ban on visas and refugees from terror prone countries, all these groups had to do was wait until he made good on that pledge to spring into action.
What's amazing isn't the planning or the execution of these protests, but the fact that the media acted as though it was all happening without any planning or coordination at all.
This was important because making the protests appear spontaneous gave them a sense of urgency and legitimacy they otherwise wouldn't have had.
As the Huffington Post put it: "These powerful images show Americans everywhere rallying against the president's immigration crackdown."
Did these news outlets know that the airport protests had been carefully planned? Or that stories they were getting about disarray and families torn apart were being fed to them by activist groups?
After all, the organizations involved in planning the "spontaneous" protests all seemed eager to share their successes with the Daily Beast, including about how they were in "constant contact with … lawyers' associations, lawmakers, reporters … ."
The fact that the mainstream press either ignorantly fell for — or were active participants in — what amounts to anti-Trump agitprop calls into question much of the rest of the coverage about these events. How much of what was being reported as fact was actually made up or wildly exaggerated by professional activists?
We learned earlier this week, for example, that a widely reported story about a 75-year old mother who died in Iraq after being barred from re-entering the U.S. was a complete lie made up by Iraq-born Mike Hager, who now lives in Michigan.
An in-house ad on The New York Times' homepage says: "The truth is hard to find." That's true. Especially when supposedly trustworthy news outlets are busy spreading falsehoods.

In Their Own Words: Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ Leaders Say They Want To Make America ‘Ungovernable’ Protestors throw rocks at police during a protest near the inauguration of President Donald Trump in Washington, DC, U.S., January 20, 2017. REUTERS/Bryan Woolston Peter Hasson Reporter, Associate Editor 02/06/2017 Behind the mass protests, choreographed chants and acts of violence, leaders of anti-Trump “resistance” efforts are communicating the same simple but dark message: they want to make America “ungovernable” for the president of the United States. These protesters say they will do whatever it takes to keep Trump from enacting his agenda, and many of them have shown a willingness to destroy public property, assault law enforcement officers and inflict violence upon their fellow citizens. Inauguration Day provided a hint of what to expect from the far left during Trump’s presidency: well-organized protests that feature alarmist rhetoric and have a proclivity to devolve into anarchic violence. Rioters smashed storefront windows, assaulted innocent bystanders and torched a limo all in the name of opposing Trump. D.C.’s inauguration weekend violence was believed to be mostly the work of a group calling themselves DisruptJ20, which began planning to disrupt the inauguration and destroy property weeks in advance. In the days and weeks leading up to the inauguration, DisruptJ20 publicly advertised an invitation to “Join us in refusing to normalize Trump’s presidency, smashing his facade of legitimacy.” DisruptJ20 advocates using “direct action” tactics, which the group describes as taking “collective action to make social change without giving power over to an authority or middle person.” “We don’t ask permission or put our faith in electoral politics, instead, we use our bodies to stop the smooth operation of the system we oppose,” the group’s website states, citing Black Lives Matter’s efforts to shut down highways as an example of the kind of disruption they have in mind. The group is open about its aim to become “an ungovernable force this winter.” A website called Ungovernable 2017 helped coordinate DisruptJ20’s DC efforts with anti-Trump protests around the country. Some groups endorsed a pledge to never give Trump the “chance to govern.” “As we resist, we will create new governing institutions, new economic relationships, and new ways of being human,” the pledge reads. The pledge was endorsed by a number of left-wing figures including: the Malcolm X Grassroots Movement, a black nationalist organization with chapters in eight cities across the country; activist and 2008 Green Party vice presidential nominee Rosa Clemente; and Lamis Deek, lawyer and a New York board member for the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR). Mass demonstrations against Trump have continued around the country in the weeks since his inauguration. (RELATED: Leader Of Portland Anti-Trump Protests Charged With Sexually Abusing Minor) An anti-Trump protest in Seattle a little over a week ago featured an activist calling for murder over a megaphone. The activist, reportedly associated with the Black Lives Matter movement, said that protesters “need to start killing people” and “start killing the White House.” Milo Yiannopoulos, an editor at pro-Trump website Breitbart, was forced to cancel a speech at UC Berkeley last week after mobs of protesters started fires, assaulted bystanders and pepper sprayed suspected Trump supporters as part of an organized effort to shut down the speech. The group is open about its apparent alliance with Princeton professor and DNC platform committee member Cornel West, who is listed as one of Refuse Fascism’s “initiators.” A spokesperson for West did not return a request for comment. Video posted to Refuse Fascism’s Facebook page last week features one of the group’s leaders whipping a throng of protesters into a frenzy with calls of revolution. “We need to make this country ungovernable,” she declares. “We need to do what the German people should have done when Hitler was elected.” Far-left activist group Occupy Oakland also took part in last week’s Berkeley riots. The group, a local spinoff from the 2011 Occupy Wall Street protests, declared victory after Milo’s speech was cancelled due to their mob-like tactics. The group circulated a picture on Twitter of two of its banners from the protest reading, “Become ungovernable” and “This is war.” We won this night. We will control the streets. We will liberate the land. We will fight fascists. We will dismantle the state. This is war. pic.twitter.com/JnlJMUtgCj — Occupy Oakland (@OccupyOakland) February 2, 2017 “We won this night. Republicans fear for their safety as Obamacare protests grow
At a closed-door meeting, House lawmakers discuss strategies to counter potential violence.
By Rachael Bade 02/07/17
House Republicans during a closed-door meeting Tuesday discussed how to protect themselves and their staffs from protesters storming town halls and offices in opposition to repealing Obamacare, sources in the room told Politico.
House GOP Conference Chairwoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers invited Rep. David Reichert, a former county sheriff, to present lawmakers with protective measures they should have in place. Among the suggestions: having a physical exit strategy at town halls, or a backdoor in congressional offices to slip out of, in case demonstrations turn violent; having local police monitor town halls; replacing any glass office-door entrances with heavy doors and deadbolts; and setting up intercoms to ensure those entering congressional offices are there for appointments, not to cause chaos.
“The message was: One, be careful for security purposes. Watch your back. And two, be receptive. Honor the First Amendment, engage, be friendly, be nice,” said Republican Study Committee Chairman Mark Walker (R-N.C.). “Because it is toxic out there right now. Even some of the guys who have been around here a lot longer than I have, have never seen it to this level.”
He later added: “For those of us who have children in grade school and that kind of thing, there’s a factor in all of this, saying: How far will the progressive movement go to try to intimidate us?”
The conference discussion comes as Democratic activists around the nation ramp up protests against Republican efforts to repeal Obamacare. Protesters have disrupted town halls and other public events, jeering and yelling at Republicans just as conservatives did to Democrats when they were writing the law eight years ago. Conservative protesters in 2009 and 2010 were accused of spitting on and hurling racial epithets at Democratic lawmakers ahead of their votes to pass Obamacare. Republicans denied the accusations at the time.
Last weekend, conservative Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) similarly had to be escorted out of a town hall meeting by a half-dozen police officers after the crowd turned angry. And just as Republicans were leaving their conference meeting Tuesday, more than 100 protesters showed up at one of Rep. Martha McSally's Arizona congressional offices, according to the Arizona Daily Star.
Also discussed at the closed-door conference meeting was how to engage Democratic constituents to ensure they feel they’re being heard. After Reichert (R-Wash.) spoke about the security side, Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) stood up to talk about how to engage constituents in a “congenial” manner.
Asked about the intensity of the protests during a news conference after the meeting, Ryan said he hopes the demonstrations remain nonviolent.
“Peaceful protests are something we honor in this country,” he said. “I just hope people keep it peaceful.”
Democrats, meanwhile, dismissed Republicans’ security ramp-up as an attempt to shield themselves from criticism.
“I think what you’re seeing is Republicans trying to use security to try to hide themselves from their constituents because they have no plan for a replacement and very little support from Donald Trump,” said Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.). “They’re going to use so-called security to keep people away.”
But the potential for violence is serious enough that the House sergeant-at-arms has asked congressional offices to notify the office of any potential threat, sources told Politico. The office will also be passing out manuals of best practices to keep staffers safe.
McMorris Rodgers last week pulled together a group of lawmakers, including Reichert, to strategize on how to best manage and respond to the spreading protests. The Washington Republican — who during an early January speech was drowned out by protesters shouting “Save our care!” — asked Reichert to present some pointers to the full conference.
Reichert, in a brief interview after the conference meeting, said lawmakers are dealing with more than just unruly town hall meetings. He said organizers are coming into their offices unannounced, showing up with signs and flooding offices with phone calls. Reichert said he told lawmakers they should “make sure you have a back door in your office if there is some sort of danger.”
“It’s not that you run from protesters, but if someone presents some sort of physical threat or are espousing a verbal threat that could lead to a physical threat, if you feel that you’re in danger and your staff is in danger, call 911 and leave and go out the back door,” he said.
Reichert also encouraged them to “make sure you have a hard door, not a glass door” that can shatter, and install an “intercom system with a camera at the front so you can see who is there.”
“The world is sometimes not a friendly place,” he said, specifically noting what happened to Gabby Giffords, the former Democratic congresswoman who was shot in the head at a constituent event in 2011. “There is a mission out there right now amongst some people to disrupt the offices of certain members … to make us look inaccessible, unresponsive and like we’re not doing anything. … There is a list of things you can do to make sure your people are safe.”
Reichert also recounted how several angry constituents “bum-rushed” into his office several years ago, blowing past a staffer. Afterward, his office reached out to the organizers of the local group and asked them to come back in groups of eight to 10 to hear their concerns. He suggested lawmakers take a similar diplomatic tack in their own districts.
“The biggest thing we can do is reach out to these people,” Reichert said. “When you have 40 to 50 people show[ing] up with protest signs, there is no way we’re going to have an opportunity to exchange ideas and thoughts. So you’ve got to build a relationship so you don’t get to the level where they feel they need to threaten or antagonize you or try to get you upset and get a YouTube moment.”
At one point, GOP leaders showed a video of what happened to McClintock (R-Calif.) this weekend during his town hall meeting. Lawmakers teased McClintock — “What did you do to get arrested?” one asked. But then the conversation turned back to safety precautions.
One member who asked not to be named said the meeting also touched on threats against lawmakers.
The presentation was particularly important, those in attendance said, because it’s not just the most politically vulnerable, moderate members being targeted by protesters. Conservatives have also seen Democratic activists show up at events, including one recently hosted by Rep. Dave Brat (R-Va.), who ousted former Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Many of these lawmakers in safe districts have never dealt with such severe blowback.
Rep. Bill Flores (R-Texas) said it was important to address the matter.
“If you look at what the left is doing,” he said, “they can endanger your constituents or your staff” who are just trying to do their jobs.

Trump supporters warned it's time for self-defense
'The left now feels violence against the right is both effective and morally justified'
Are you ready to rumble?
That’s the question the Knights of Socialism at the University of Central Florida used to advertise their new Leftist Fight Club, which is open to the entire campus – except Republicans.
“Knights for Socialism has decided to host a series of self-defense clinics for anyone that wants to learn how to BASH THE FASH,” the group proclaimed on its Facebook page.
The group said it would have gloves and pads but “no bare-knuckle yet,” followed by a winking emoticon.
The campus group claimed the combat lessons, conducted by an amateur boxer, were necessary because of a “record number of hate crimes against Latinos, Immigrants, Muslims, Women, the LGBTQIA+ community, Jews, African Americans and other minorities since the rise of Donald Trump and other Alt Right Neo Nazis.”
As WND reported in November, the supposed rise in hate crimes against Muslims and other minorities appears to be another example of nonexistent “fake news,” as many of these hate crimes have been revealed as frauds.
Also belying the claim of self-defense, the event page for the Fight Club features a cartoon of Captain America punching Richard Spencer, a leader of the so-called “Alt-Right” movement who was sucker-punched while giving an interview during the Inauguration Day riots.
Campus Reform reports college administrators are looking into the incident. However, Scott Greer, author of “No Campus For White Men,” says it’s hardly a fringe occurrence.
“The left now feels violence against the right is both effective and morally justified,” Greer told WND. “They work themselves into paranoia that right-wingers are stalking about and ready to attack them, which is total nonsense. Regardless, this boneheaded notion gives them the motivation to punch anyone they deem a Nazi out of ‘self-defense.’ But make no mistake, this is not about self-defense. It’s about training to physically assault, without real justification, political enemies in order to further their agenda.”
In recent weeks, left-wing violence has expanded against targets who can hardly be called “Nazis” or white supremacists. The most recent was a full-scale riot at the University of California-Berkeley where violent demonstrations against Milo Yiannopoulos, a Jewish homosexual, led to widely televised scenes of beatings, fires and property destruction.
Leftists are divided about how to address the violence.
Democratic Congresswoman Val Demings called the riots a “beautiful sight.”
Meanwhile, former Clinton administration official Robert Reich claimed Yiannopoulos and his employers at Breitbart News had staged the riots themselves as a false flag operation.
Greer pins the blame squarely on the mainstream media, which in his judgment has fomented a climate of hatred against conservatives and President Donald Trump.
“The media is absolutely responsible for this violence,” he said. “They call Trump and his supporters Nazis and then glorify violence against supposed Nazis. The media is filled with messaging that it’s OK for the left to physically attack their foes. Additionally, the ‘resistance’ mania and hysterics over how Trump will turn America into a dictatorship further the impetus for violence among the left.”
Matthew Vadum, senior vice president at the Capital Research Center and an expert on leftist politics who wrote “Subversion, Inc.,” believes the left is “panicked.”
“They are apoplectic and not thinking straight,” he said. “They cannot accept that Donald Trump is president and that Barack Obama, their lord and savior, has left office. They are lashing out at anything they associate with President Trump and Republicans. They’ve gone crazy.”
However, Vadum warned conservatives should take this supposed “fight club” very seriously. Indeed, he sees it as the latest chapter in a long history of violence coming from the American left.
“I think the term ‘fight club’ is euphemistic,” he said. “It would be more accurate to call this a left-wing militia that has announced its intentions to launch attacks against Trump supporters and conservatives. Democrats did the same thing after the Civil War by creating the Ku Klux Klan to lynch Republicans and freed blacks and scare them away from the polls. They fantasize that the federal government is out to get them, which makes no sense at all. All President Trump wants to do is restore law and order and some semblance of normalcy to government.”
The riots at Berkeley drew passionate reaction from many conservatives, some of whom heard of violent communist protesters known as “antifa” for the first time. Popular media personality Lauren Southern of Rebel Media suggested it is time for conservatives to start forming their own self-defense organizations.
And both Greer and Vadum agree.
“Conservative kids should be doing their own self-defense training,” Greer told WND. “The Berkeley riot showed that they absolutely need to know how to defend themselves if they want to uphold their beliefs. Leftist political violence is only going to get worse, so right-wingers must get with the times and learn to fight back.”
Vadum also argued “this is only going to get worse.”
“The mainstream media is cheering on the violence and encouraging it at every opportunity by lying and saying that the Trump administration is a threat to Americans,” he said. “Conservatives should prepare to protect themselves. They should also pressure police to start shutting down riots before they start. Setting cars on fire and smashing windows is not free speech, but left-wingers who run local governments seem to think it is.”
Yet while more conservatives are awakening to the threat of left-wing violence, the greater threat is the left-wing media. Not only does it excuse left-wing violence, according to Greer and Vadum, but conservatives can expect a hostile reaction from the press even if they simply defend themselves.
“Imagine if it were College Republicans doing this,” said Greer. “The media and school administration would shriek that they had a barbaric skinhead gang on campus if these were right-wingers. They would immediately shut it down and possibly expel the students who started it.”
Vadum said campus authorities “would freak out if Republicans exhibited the bad behavior of leftists at colleges today.”
“They would read the riot act and demand it stop. They would ramp up expulsions of and disciplinary actions against Republican students for expressing forbidden ideas – something they already do but not yet on a wide scale.”
But Greer believes the left has become so extreme and thuggish that the double standard may soon collapse.
“I think after Berkeley, there might be now more leeway given to conservatives to start hosting these events,” he said.
"The time for war has not yet come, but it will come and that soon, and when it does come, my advice is to draw the sword and throw away the scabbard." Gen. T.J. Jackson, March 1861
