That can be done, it it's a 4-4 tie on the Supreme Court. If it's 5-4, even with a temporary justice, it's theoretically possible but not likely. On rare occasions the Supreme Court has overturned itself, but it usually takes decades for that to occur. People have been trying to get the Court to overturn
Roe v. Wade for more than forty years.
As far as rehearing the same case, unless it's brought before the Court on another point of law, no. You can't appeal a Supreme Court decision to the Supreme Court.
