Mysticstar is not posting here but I am trying to make contact now for a "boots on the ground" update on the situation in Long Island.

I also have made contact with a person in NYC but it is spotty.

Word I am getting is that large parts of NYC are up and running in part due to previously hardened and prepared infrastructure. Most of the people don't own a vehicle anyway and a lot of buildings had generators installed for Y2k which are still functioning to provide power.
