I hope everyone is watching the headlines from the areas that were hit by Sandy. If you had any doubts about how thin the veneer is between "Civilized Citizen" and "Me first", those doubts should be put to rest. Looting and fights over gasoline, even when FRN's are still worth something. The aftermath of Sandy, particularly how people conduct themselves, should affirm for everyone that commodities are more valuable than FRNs and even gold in a SHTF world.
