Being a Physop soldier is like being a marine. They have workers, MPS, Mechanics, Press operators, supply technicians, and also a crew of Intelligence Technicians. I served with 7th Psyops in Okinawa back in the 70's. I was however a radio repairman on a 50,000 watt radio broadcast station.
This is part of the scam to make his part more believable and to grant him skills he can't know.
The mission is to show a "Disgruntled" soldier with specialized skills "capable" of doing all this alone with no support or assistance.
