Agreed. Because of this I think we'll be knocked out of the war early on, then sit the rest of it out, with our military only engaging in defensive operations here in CONUS.

If we're smart we'll declare neutrality early on, like Switzerland in WWII. But then again, "our" government hasn't been making the best of decisions lately, and I see no reason why they would suddenly alter that trend.

Of course, there will be more than enough US-based mercenary outfits operating overseas. With all these Americans actively fighting in WWIII, it will be difficult to maintain our neutrality. I imagine Israel, India, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, and Japan will be hiring American mercs like crazy.

On equipment: You get what you inspect, not what you expect.
On training: Our drills are bloodless battles so that our battles are bloody drills.
On tactics: Cheating just means you're serious about winning.
