The FBI released an alert Monday warning the NYPD and police departments nationwide of a potentially dangerous anarchist group that says it plans to ambush cops on Halloween.
The extremist group – known as the National Liberation Militia – has proposed a “Halloween Revolt” that encourages supporters to cause a disturbance to attract police and then viciously attack them, the FBI said.
The group has recommended that members wear typical Halloween masks and use weapons such as bricks, bottles and firearms, according to the release.
The NYPD Intelligence Bureau is monitoring the threat, and there is no known link between the threat and New York City law enforcement specifically, the FBI said. If I can ever find the original FBI bulletin, I'll post it. Onward and upward, airforce

No patriot Militia unit would ever have the word "liberation" anywhere in it's name. That's a purely socialist term.
Probably just some Black Lives Matter/Occupy Wallstreet type who's posting dumb shit on Facebook.
The worst thing about this is that the ADL and SPLC will certainly cite this on their websites as an incident of a "right-wing terrorist threat." Watch and see.

Never thought of that one, but there was that guy in Seattle a few years back who picked Halloween night to shoot up a cop car because he figured he would have a more target rich ambush zone with cops doubled up in the cars. Never thought of the mask thing, but you figure, it is one night of the year where a mask would be "normal".
